Boletus badius: commonly known as the bay bolete. It has a chestnut to dark brown cap and the flesh is mostly whitish or yellow; underneath the cap it is brownish-pink or reddish brown. It stains pale blue when injured or exposed to air, particularly in damp weather. The spore print is olive to olive-brown. A color show!
